Jesus Gets Around

The phenomena is called Pareidolia. It's not supernatural. People are predisposed to see the images they want. For example, there is little style difference between classical images of Jesus and of the ancient Greek God Zeus, but why do so many people choose to interpret something as being an image of Jesus? -Because they are conditioned to.

Even I experience Pareidolia, though I do not see images of Jesus. I have spackled ceilings and parts of walls. Every now and then, and especially when I'm on the pot (sorry for the imagery), I'll stare at a ceiling or wall and notice what I interpret as a face. Overtime I came to realize that what type of face I saw was based on my mood, so if I was in a good mood I saw a pleasant face, a bad mood an angry or even scary face. So the Pareidolia experience is quite common. The human brain is designed to recognize patterns in things. Unfortunately what Pareidolia is not is proof of the supernatural. In fact, Religious Pareidolia is just another checkmark for the side of Atheism.

If you disagree, then please be aware that there was a family in Texas who claimed the Virgin Mary appeared in bird droppings on their truck.

Obama Is The Antichrist: Your Horribly Ignorant Evangelical/Fundamentalist Propaganda Of The Day

I'm suprised they didnt' draw devil horns on him.

Dystonic Cheerleader Cured By "Hyperbolic Oxygen Treatments" And "Detox"

You be the judge. Is this woman legitimate? Scroll down and watch the other clips to compare.

What do you think?

All I can is this: On the Dystonia Foundation website, "Hyberbolic Oxygen Treatments" and "Intravenous Detox" is not listed as treatments or complimentary therapies. Dystonia worsens over time. There is no cure. However, there is such a thing as Psychogenic Dystonia, and the Dystonia Foundation website has a page on such.

Dystonic Cheerleader Completes 8K Race

Note that she's not undergoing spasms as in the original video which propelled her to fame.

I don't want to accuse her of faking it, because Psychogenic disorders are real, it's just they originate in the mind.

They reason why I am taking interest in Jenning's story is because too many anti-vaccine propagandists are using her case as evidence for the health hazards of vaccinations. Because of such, I think it's best we all put on our skeptic hats.

Jesus Was Not The Messiah - by ProfMTH

YouTube user ProfMTH lays out the case that Jesus is not the messiah. ProfMTH brings to the table the fact that the gospel writers simply made up prophecies which they attributed to the prophets or else they reference passages of scripture that are not messianic prophecies and which cannot be construed as having any connection toward Jesus, and in some cases contradict what people today believe of Jesus.

I find these videos extremely interesting and am now currently going through responce videos to see if anybody can bring up any good counter-arguments.

Anti-Vaccine Fraud?: The Cheerleader Who Ran While She Talked - Debunked

Okay, many of us have seen the video of the poor beautiful cheerleader, Desiree Jennings, who had her life destroyed after developing a condition called "Dystonia" after supposedly receiving a flu shot. If you haven't seen the clip, then take a look below.

The above video has been used as propaganda in the war against vaccines, and especially flu shots.

Well, now there is some intriguing new developments. Is this woman in the video now cured? This beautiful cheerleader who had her life destroyed by a supposed flu shot has now regained her ability to speak normally by "oxygen treatments".

YouTube user Nykytyne stated from the very beginning that this woman's disorder was psychogenic (i.e. psychological) in nature. Take a look:

Nykytyne received an incredible outlash from viewers who are ignorant on psychogenic disorders and who refused to believe in anything other than Jenning's disorder being a complication of a bad flu shot. It's looking more and more like Nykytyne was correct with his belief that Jenning's disorder was psychogenic in nature since there really is no data or evidence to suggest that oxygen treatments could treat or cure Dystonia. Here's Nykytyne giving the last word:

I just wanted to say, "Great Job, Nykytyne!" It was a good call and we needed your videos to combat the paranoid anti-vaccine propagandists.

Nancy Smith And Joseph Allen - Acquitted

In 1994, Nancy Smith, a school bus driver in Ohio, became a victim of the Satanic Panic hysteria. Smith was accused of taking children to meet a mysterious man named "Joseph", so that he could molest them and that together they could abuse them by forcing them to drink urine and by torturing them by repeatedly poking them with needles and sticks.

Smith was convicted and spent 15 years of her life behind bars for a crime she never committed.

Joseph Allen was another victim of the witch hunt. The children who claimed abuse, did not give consistent descriptions of this mysterious "Joseph", claiming he was white, black, a white man in black face, or a black man with blue eyes. Unfortunately Joseph Allen was in the wrong place and at the wrong time. The police decided it was he who was the mysterious "Joseph" the children spoke of.

Joseph Allen was convicted and sentenced to 5 consecutive life sentences for a crime he never committed.

In February 2009, Nancy Smith was released from jail on a technicality. In April 2009, Joseph Allen was released as well. On June 24, 2009 both Nancy Smith and Joseph Allen were acquitted of the crimes for which they were accused. Both Smith and Allen had lost 15 years of their life due to the absurd accusations levelled at them from children and fanatical parents.

Imaginary Crimes

For those interested in the 'Satanic Panic' of the late 1970's through the 1990's, then please take the time to visit the site, Imaginary Crimes.

You will be shocked and amazed by just how many innocent people have been imprisoned after false accusations of Satanic Ritual Abuse. You will also be shocked to learn that in the good majority of the cases, if not all of the cases, there is absolutely no physical evidence presented at trial proving their guilt. People have their lives destroyed based on nothing more than the accusations of children, which unusually stem from adult religious fanatics.

In the case of Elizabeth Ramirez, Cassandra Rivera, Anna Vasquez and Kristie Mayhugh, their original court appointed lawyer advised them to take a plea-bargain because once children get on the stand then the jury will automatically believe what they say, no matter how wild their stories are or despite the fact that there is no evidence. (Note the similarity to the Salem Witch Trials where the accusations of a group of girls resulted in the hanging of 19 people convicted of being witches, the torture death of one man for refusing to submit a plea, and the death of up to 13 individuals who died while in jail awaiting trial. But children don't lie, right?)

In the case of the women above, the problems started with one grandmother witnessing her grandchildren playing inappropriately with a doll, supposedly inserting an object into the doll's private area. The grandmother is then reported to have implanted the idea that the children's parents must have abused them for how else would they have played in such manner? The result was arrest and subsequent false convictions, with expert testimony that the women were "Lesbian Witches" and that the girls were molested as part of a Satanic ritual.

It's a sad day for Justice when people are convicted without there being any evidence for their guilt and when the wildest of accusations are believed true due to superstitious beliefs and religious fanaticism.

Patrick Figured & Sonya Hill: A Modern Witch Hunt

Patrick Figured and his wife Sonya Hill were convicted of a crime they most likely never committed.

Figured & Hill were likely victims of an over-zealous social worker obsessed with so-called "Satanic Cults" which she believed were infiltrating society and abusing children.

In a nut shell, 4 children that Hill babysat accused both Hill and Figured, after being "worked over" by the social worker, of being Satanists. Figured was accused of dressing up as the Devil, of wearing scary masks with snakes and bugs on them, of performing Satanic rituals involving candles, of burning bibles, of forcing the children to drink dog urine as well as human blood, and of sodomizing the children with a screw driver. Figured was arrested and spent 4 years in jail, repeat 4 years in jail, before his case came to trial. During the 4 year wait, the children underwent "therapy" for their so-called abuse. It is believed that these therapy sessions reinforced the belief in the children that they had been abused.

The accusations against the couple are laughable, but the sodomy with a screw-driver accusation is horrible. None of the children had wounds consistent with sexual abuse. None of the children were reported to have suffered the bleeding that would have been associated with such abuse had it actually occurred. Instead, the now disproven "anal-wink test" was performed on the children with the belief that it was evidence the children had been sodomized.

For those who don't know, the anal-wink test was concocted by an over-zealous physician as a means of gathering evidence of sexual abuse when no apparant evidence exists. The practice involves touching a q-tip to a child's rectum to see if the rectum relaxes or opens. If the rectum does relax or "wink" then it was believed "proof" that the child was sodomized in the past. The anal-wink test was discredited in 1989 and is no longer accepted.

With regards to the accusations against Hill, the children claimed she participated in the Satanic rituals as well as took pornographic pictures of them. Despite the fact that no pornographic photos were ever presented as evidence, the jury believed the children and Hill was sentenced to 10 years in prison. One juror later commented that children wouldn't make-up such accusations.

Patrick Figured suffered a worse face. Figured was arrested in 1988 and spent 4 years in jail before coming to trial in 1992. Figured was convicted on three accounts, with life for each. In 1996, the sentence was changed to 1 life sentence. Figured's 1994 appeal was denied.

To date Figured has been in jail circa 21 years for a crime he likely never committed.

To add insult to injury, the parents of the victims sued Hill and was awarded 10.5 million dollars in compensation for an imaginary crime.
