Best Evidence: The Review

Esteemed filmmaker, Paul Kimball, has released another documentary on UFOs, this time focusing on the top ten UFO cases of all time.
Feeling elated at winning an advanced copy of the documentary, especially as the film has yet to be released to US audiences, I decided to compose, a.k.a 'promised', a happily written review in return. (Though it be a tad bit late! I received a copy of the film a month or so ago. Apologies to Mr. Kimball, of course.)
My original thought was a lengthy minute-by-minute, scene-by-scene, critique and evaluation. However, I soon realized this would only spoil the film for soon-to-be viewers, and probably come across a tad bit too arrogant on my part.
Therefore, I am left with the following, which I feel adequately sums up both the film and effort put for by one Paul Kimball.
'Best Evidence: Top 10 UFO Sightings' is a documentary concerning the often ignored, but rather important subject of Unidentified Flying Objects, more importantly, the top ten cases as agreed upon by many an expert in the field of Ufology. The film's creator, one Paul Kimball, not only imbues the film with a sense of intrigue and discovery, but also provides needed hints about how the ignoring of the phenomena by mainstream society may eventually come at a price. Viewers of the film will not be tantalized by rumor and innuendo, nor will the viewer be witness to wild accusations with no accompanying proof. Instead, only the cold, hard facts are presented along with amazing computer-animated special effects. Indeed, Mr. Kimball delights in his choices for the film and has publicly commented that not a single 'alien' was ever depicted.
I myself found only one aspect of concern with the film, the voice of the narrator, Kris McBride. Her voice has such a 'hypnotic' quality to it that I struggled at times to keep my attention on the case currently being discussed. (No offence intended toward Ms. McBride. I'm sure this skill will prove beneficial to her career!) However, this aside, 'Best Evidence: Top 10 UFO Sightings' is not just 'perhaps', but most definitely 'is' the must see UFO documentary of the decade.
Kudos to Paul Kimball, the consultants, the experts, and every 'behind-the-scene' man or woman who played their part in creating this film.
